Outlookers Launches New Support Group in Denby Dale

Outlookers, the local sight loss charity, is delighted to announce the launch of a new support group in Denby Dale, aimed at providing assistance to individuals with visual impairments. The group will offer peer support, share experiences on adapting to life with visual impairment, and provide basic technology training, such as using smartphones with limited or no vision and helpful apps to improve daily life.

The Denby Dale Outlookers Group will take place on the first and third Thursday of every month from 10:30 to 12:00, with the inaugural session scheduled for Thursday, 17th April. Participants are encouraged to mark their calendars and join this valuable resource for the visually impaired community.

The sessions are open to anyone living with a visual impairment and their close friends and family members. While attendance is free, donations are welcome to help support the continuation of these services.
